The dead can’t bury the truth. But Jon South can sure as hell make them bleed.

Three years after a viral outbreak turns most of the population into mindless cannibals, the world lies in ruins. Scattered survivors cling to life in isolated camps and makeshift communities.

Not Jon South.

After losing his wife and son, Jon wanders the rural backroads of Tennessee—alone, armed, and hellbent on revenge. Every dead monster he puts down is one more step toward peace. Until he stumbles onto a brutal attack in the woods... and realizes the real monsters may not be the ones who’ve already died.

A gritty, character-driven zombie thriller from the #1 Amazon bestselling author of Empty Bodies and Final Awakening.

Fans of The Walking Dead, The Road, and survival horror won’t want to miss this one.

I really enjoyed this story. Much inspiration from the Walking Dead. I enjoyed the characters and the villain, Judah. I can’t wait to read more!

Enjoyable

This is a decent story, but there are a few issues
1. Fuel would not be usable three years after a societal collapse.
2. There needs to be more background information. The story moves entirely to fast.
There are a few others, but they are minor.

Decent

I feel like this is the most generic zombie book ever, nothing special really stands out about it. I also think that there is to much unnecessary swear words for no real reason, and I was in the military for many years so I’m accustomed to that. Lastly, it doesn’t feel like the author really researched much for this book and there are a lot of inconsistencies with the most annoying, in my opinion, is that the zombies didn’t seem to care about the sound of a motorcycle ever but any other noise will bring them running.

Not bad but nothing special

This book is radically yo because it is like walking dead yo and atomic structure of the poraballa is crazy

John and Rick rymes

I started reading this with the hope that there would be some special within. There was not. Just another zombie episodic fight.

Hoping for something special. Wasn’t…
