Dr. Zoe Hansen was forced to leave her beloved hospital job to escape a stalker. It worked - or so she thought. She's terrified when he reappears in her life one night - and stunned when he turns up viciously murdered soon after. She's arrested for the crime, but she quickly clears her name. Unfortunately, her problems are far from over. She'll have to accept the protection of the one man she shouldn't want.

Former Navy SEAL Sawyer McCabe might not know the gorgeous Zoe as well as he wants to, but he knows all about trouble. So when she's threatened, he steps in to help her regardless of the consequences and gets her out of town. But it's not enough to escape a determined killer. As the danger closes in they have to trust each other if they want to stay alive. And Sawyer's determined to do whatever it takes to keep Zoe safe and in his arms. Because Zoe is worth risking everything for.

Any additional comments?

This is an awesome series; this is the tenth book in the Red Stone Security Series written by Katie Reus and narrated by Sophie Eastlake. This book can be read as a standalone but once you read this one you will want to go back and read the rest of the books. Dr. Zoe Hansen was forced to leave her hospital because another doctor was stalking her. She finds a new job and new house and is terrified when the stalker appears at her new job. She goes to her friend who works for Red Stone Security to see what she can do for protection. The next morning her stalker is found murdered and she is the only suspect. Former Navy Seal Sawyer McCabe offers to protect Zoe because he has been attracted to her since he met her. He needs to convince Zoe that he can keep her safe and that he wants a future with her.

The narrator Sophie Eastlake did a great job with this book, and was very easy to listen to. She did a great job with the different voices of each character in this book. It was very easy to listen to in one sitting and I didn’t want to stop listening until the end.

If you are looking for a great book with great characters then you need to listen to this book. I am looking forward to listening to the next book by this author and narrator.

A Review copy was provided to me in exchange for a fair and honest review. The free book held no determination on my personal review.

Zoe Hansen has a stalker. One of her fellow surgeons is the culprit. She leaves her job at the hospital and he leaves town. Now he's back and the danger ramps up. He's murdered and someone is after her. Who? I enjoy strong female characters and Zoe is that. She stands up for herself and for what she believes in, but isn't too proud to take help when it's needed. Enter Sawyer McCabe, the newest employee of Red Stone Security, and her self-appointed body guard. He cares for Zoe and wants to be there for her. The heated sexual attraction between them is off the charts. Danger brings them together and their personal connection binds them. I loved their passionate romance and wanted them to take a chance on a future together. It's always a treat catching up with characters from previous Red Stone Security books. I like the continuity. Katie Reus gives us a well-plotted story which is filled with passion, suspense and danger. I'm hooked and proud of it. Narrator Sophie Eastlake does a great job. She brings the characters to life and adds depth and emotion to the story. These two make a great combination.

Ms Reus gives us another engaging plot in Deadly Fallout. This time the story belongs to former Navy Seal and new Red Stone Security hire, Sawyer McCabe and Dr Zoe Hansen, sister of Vincent, a Red Stone Security man.
Zoe has had problems with a stalker. One that forces her to leave her job at the hospital . She is happy in her new job until the stalker re-appears. When he ends up murdered, Zoe is arrested and questioned. Though she is found innocent, the danger follows her.
Sawyer takes it upon himself to keep her safe. But he is also drawn to her , and wants to have a relationship with her.
It’s a story that moves along quickly and is filled with suspense, whodunit, a murderer, hot sex and strong male and female characters. I love that the author always throws in family and the importance of them in our lives.
Another good addition to this series.
I was gifted this audiobook . The opinions expressed are solely my own.
