so many emotions

there were so many different emotions while reading this buck. I love the development of the characters at the story paragraphs I love the storyline and how it drew you in with the ups and downs of the relationship not only with the main characters with the others involved. definitely worth the read.

Not as good as the first one

I like that the story told the little sister’s version, but it was pretty much the same as the first story.

A good story

A little over the top on a couple of juvenile emotional concerns but a good read. Hot!!

phenomenal series

I loved every minute of this series so far. Mystery, action, steamy romance, love and HEA. I do believe trigger warnings should have been listed.

Not as good as book 1

For as much as I was anticipating this second book in the series, I sure didn't enjoy it as much as the first. The emotions and darkness were okay, but I don't know that I ever felt a love connection between the characters. It was nice to see Alaric and Layla, and the audiobook was well done, so at least I was kept engaged by those things.
