It’s another typical day in the life of Ms. Aggie Underhill; an ATM going bonkers shooting out wads of cash, a shady bank owner with a nasty habit, two teenage bank robbers, a picture-perfect teller and her thug of a boyfriend, plus two unexplained murders. Naturally curious, Aggie can’t help but be nosy. Despite the warning from her daughter to mind her own business, Aggie takes detective matters through the world of gossip into her own hands. If you like quirky and comical mysteries you're in for a treat.

In the Millie mysteries written by the same author you get to stay with Millie throughout the entire story and see the story through her eyes but in this one, you see a lot of different people and in the very end, with sprinkles throughout, you get to see Aggie a little bit, but Aggie is in my opinion not the center of the story as it moves along. So that kind of disappointed me a little bit because the story spent a lot of time talking about this person that person the other person that was all disassociated until it came to the end. The narration was pretty good and the production was pretty good and the British accent was nice. The different voices were interesting so it was interesting to listen to, but in my opinion, it was a little bit disappointing.

Did not spend enough time with Aggie

Another great Aggie Underhill cozy mystery! This time, Aggie becomes involved in a murder and bank robbery while innocently attempting to open a savings account for her grandson. Of course, with her natural curiosity (dare I say nosiness?), you know that she will quickly solve this intricate web of unlawfulness!

This book (as well as the other in the series) is full of quirky characters, twists and interconnections that you won't see coming and Aggie's signature pocketbook! The descriptions of the many characters really bring them to life and the reader can almost see them as they are introduced. The author has created a wonderful character in Aggie and anytime I'm in the mood for a fun, entertaining and well-written cozy mystery, I know that this series will not disappoint!

The narrator for the audiobook does a fantastic job and her various voices with their distinctive accents and personalities really bring this book to life.

This was such a sweet story, though at times it felt a bit over the top and a little more complex than it needed to be. Even so, I truly enjoyed the journey and found myself smiling along the way. The narrator did a wonderful job bringing the story to life and adding to the overall charm. Aggie is loads of fun!

Over the Top Delight
