This was a humorous story that reminded me of arsenic and old lace. I enjoyed the story and characters. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a good job bringing it to life.

This is another great light-hearted story about Aggie Underhill and her friends. Anytime that I need something fun to read or listen to, I know that the amazing Michelle Hollstein will have a story that is just right!

Aggie and Betty are finally able to return to their Condos after a fire and Aggie is determined to show Betty and Roger that she is capable of decorating it herself. She refuses to let Roger do it after her earlier encounter with his decorating skills. Instead, she goes to a local shop and purchases several paintings, pillows and throws and some antique furniture. Then, she sets about to "prepare" a home-cooked dinner for her friends.

Of course, our intrepid heroine once again becomes involved in a crime. It seems like Aggie can't even stay out of trouble when she stays home! This story had plenty of pithy dialogue, loads of laugh out loud funny moments (be careful where you are when you give it a listen!) and a little mystery.

The narrator, Trish Elliott, is absolutely perfect for this series. Her voices for the different characters are spot-on and her pacing is perfect. If you love cozy mysteries with plenty of great characters and humor, you can't go wrong with this book or any in the Aggie Underhill series. I was given the chance to listen to this audiobook by the author and chose to review it.
