Not completely sold

This was a new to me author and narrator. It falls into friends to lovers and single mom. I’m not a huge fan of secret baby, but this one was low angst and drama so I didn’t have too much trouble with it. I really enjoyed the storyline. I struggled with the audio though. It only had one narrator, and I really like having two. By the end I had gotten used to the “male” voice.

New to me author and narrator- so good!

In this second chance, friends to lovers story, Riley and Devyn are best friends, who are probably in love with each other from early on, but both are too young, and Riley is too much of a player, to admit it. Five years go by, surprises ensue, and they get their HEA. I loved this story. It was unique. It was believable. And sweet, not to mention hot at times. The narrator did well differentiating between male and female voices. She hesitated a little when it didn’t seem necessary but overall was great to listen to. Will definitely read and listen to more from these two!

Devyn and Riley!

Devyn and Riley meet their freshman year in college and are instant best friends. Now senior year comes, Devyn asks Riley to take her virginity. And their story really begins. Laura Lee has written a love story that grabbed me and kept me interested. Not your typical best friends to lovers story, we are taken into their lives and get to see over the years the benefits and consequences of their decisions. It captivated me, had me full of compassion for both and loved the outcome. It's fun, flirty and the had me laughing out loud at some of the word choices!!! Meeting a variety of people in their lives from brothers to school friends to Nathan, it's a entertainment at it's finest.

Reagan West always gives a wonderful performance and this one is no exception. She fit into the new adult genre with ease, and transformed from parents to young children in an instant. I loved it!

Steamy Adorable

This story has it all. Sexy dudes, sarcasm, hot moments, and adorable melt your heart laugh out loudness that keeps you hanging on for more! I loved this book, and would read it a million more times, because these characters are nothing short of absolutely fantastic!!

So many great characters in this book.

This is a great friends-to-lovers, second chance, secret baby romance. When Devyn decides it's time to lose her virginity but doesn't have a boyfriend, she decides who would be better than her very best friend Riley. Riley has been more for short flings than relationships. They make a deal, one night with no strings, but life has other plans.

Riley was absolutely amazing. Watching him go from womanizer to only wanting one woman. Not to mention the effort he puts in to their one night. Devyn frustrated me at times. I understood she didn't want to get hurt again. Nathan was the absolute cutest. So many great characters in this book.
