Ian Hughes returns from a business trip, only to discover his wife Debbie has been brutally murdered. When a bloody note reveals Ian was the intended victim, Detective Danny Diaz is assigned to act as Ian’s bodyguard. The two men were best friends in high school, and now that they’ve been thrown together again, the feelings they each secretly harbor for one other are rekindled. Great story with lots of twists.

This is an amazing love story that keeps you trying to fugure out who the killer is. Just when you think you figured it all out something unexpected happens that makes you clutch your pearls and gasp. The love story between Danny and Ian is very touching and their love scenes are really HOT!!! I can't wait for more books from Sean Cunningham.
