On the run from Scotland Yard, she takes refuge in Kate and Charles's home—and in Jack London's arms. All of which makes for a very interesting investigation indeed...

Not my favorite

I do so enjoy this series. This is my least favorite however. Still looking forward to the next one.

Enjoyable overall

What I liked: The authors’ use of actual historical figures. They do this in all their books and it makes the reading interactive because I always look up the person they’re writing about. The trial was really well done, suspenseful even. When the authors focus more on action and dialog is when the story becomes truly engrossing.
What I don’t like as much: There is so much detail and background of what they’re writing about, in this case, anarchism, that I feel like I’m in a classroom and the book seems to drag in places.

Fantastic! Jack London in this story and had to look him up. Russians, anarchists and murder. What more could you ask for? Oh yes, many more stories!
