A lot of characters with suspense until the end. Sad back story of ancestors that was relevant to the current family situation. This interesting book only made better by the wonderful narrator.

At times I thought I would have to stop listening it go so emotional. Serious love story from the past that intervened in between the current story

I wept. Yes I did but it all ended on a good note. Not for the murderer of course or the murdered man’s family!

I love the back and forth between the 1600s and the 1800s. I always learn a lot about how people lived then, The story is really touching and reminds us what it was like when people were property.

One of my favorites in the series.

I enjoyed some of the one-liners that were thrown in to this story. Different from Tasha’s other stories.

As always, the team of Tasha and Bianca are superb.
