Kept me engaged the whole time!

Wonderfully written with great character development! The narrator isn’t my favorite but she did a good job.

Overall the narrator was good.

There were times I couldn't tell when the character switched. For the most part the narrator was good. I did not like the glossing over of how one becomes saved. I know it's a book, but people need to know that without accepting Jesus into one's heart, there's no salvation.

The Tangled Web

I truly enjoyed the complexity of the story that unfolded... even if I had to go back & re-read some of the chapters for details I had missed. The characters were also complex as both the investigations & the love relationships unfolded in the story...both the familial loves & the romantic love. I also identified with Tori's faith journey & it touched my heart. I'm now looking forward to starting book 3 & hoping there will be even more books in the FBI Task Force series. Thank you, DiAnn!

Brilliantly complex, love the twist

Mills strikes oil with this suspense filled with as many healing emotional moments as taut action and murderous intent! With characters full of layers and a storyline that dismantles what we believe to be true while sharing what really is.

Second listen and just as satisfying!

Characters were believable, especially with the excellent narration. The story was engaging from start to finish. Disappointment in those we love is challenging and tortuous to experience. So glad that Mills skillfully weaves the hope and forgiveness of Jesus Christ through the story. The gospel is not in your face as the author leads you through this tale. Worth a second listen!
