A second chance at love sparks a fight for redemption.

Dylan “Delta” Hunt thought he left his past behind when he returned from war. Haunted by all he’s seen, he’s built walls around his heart, convinced that peace and love are beyond his reach.

Emma has never stopped loving Dylan, even after the man she knew came back a broken stranger. She’s spent years trying to reach him but has failed every time. Now, an unexpected revelation about her estranged family pulls her into a dangerous mystery, and Dylan might be the only one who can help.

When Emma vanishes without a trace, Dylan is forced to confront the feelings he buried long ago. But the real question is, does he have enough light inside to bring them both home? Or will rescuing her cost him what little peace he clings to?

Dive into a gripping story of lost love, redemption, and courage in this Christian romantic suspense.

I went into Delta with high expectations, especially after the strong buildup to Dillion’s story throughout the series. Unfortunately, this one didn’t quite land for me the way I hoped.

As a Christian, my faith is deeply important to me. I pray daily, often more than once, so faith-based elements don’t bother me at all. However, in this book, the amount of prayer felt a bit overdone and, at times, pulled me out of the story rather than enhancing it. I felt several of the prayers could have been implied instead of written out in full, which may have allowed the story’s momentum and emotional impact to flow more naturally.

That said, the storyline itself was okay. I did enjoy the lead-up and the foundation that had been built for Dillion across the series, even if the execution didn’t fully meet my expectations in this installment. It wasn’t a bad book by any means, just a little disappointing compared to what I was anticipating.

This was my first completed Christian read, and while this one wasn’t a standout for me, it hasn’t turned me away from the genre. I’m still looking forward to exploring more Christian authors and stories in the future.

The Ending to a great Series

I cried, I cheered, I chewed my nails. All the other brothers stories were just as engaging, but this one touched my heart. Jessica, thank you for the stories and for showing God through them.

I loved the hope that comes only from faith weaved through out the story! It was very exciting and had me wanting more.

This was the best of the series. I cried at parts of it and that doesn’t happen often. Best book I’ve listened to in a while. Loved it. Hope there is more in the series.

This whole series has been great, but this book is amazing, the best! I appreciate the portrayal of the difficulties of a warrior with crippling PTSD, and how God's goodness and mercy has the power to heal even the most difficult cases! I have so much respect and appreciation for author Jessica Ashley, and these narrators are outstanding as well!!
