Demelza rises above her station and into your heart.

Demelza is one of my most favorite Poldark characters. Her honesty and unwavering love toward Ross is tested in ways I cannot imagine, yet Demelza displays the fortitude of a miner's daughter with the class of the gentry she has become. Another win for Graham, this book easily sent me running for book three.

Wonderful listen!

I loved listening to this book as I have watched Poldark many times. On to the next book!

The series by Winston Graham is wonderful! I enjoyed the narration by Clare Corbett

What did you like best about this story?

I liked hearing Demelza's perspective on life.

Which scene was your favorite?

No particular favorite scene. The book is so full of life, both the joys and the sorrows. All of the series were on Audible.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes
