Good. Story takes a back seat to non-stop sex.

This installment in the series was good. It wasn’t great, but it wasn’t bad.

I don’t object to erotica - it makes no difference to me as long as the story is compelling. And that’s the crux of my waning interest in this series: the amount of sexual content is gratuitous and the story is in the back seat.

3.5* for the storyline
This is the conclusion of Theo and Emmie's story. This picks up where the second story left off. I enjoy this series and I love the characters but for me the back and forth between the two characters was a bit much for me. I feel sometimes Emmie tried a little too hard to come off as tough because not only does she have MC background but she also has Mafia. I did enjoy the banter and seeing another side of Theo. Look forward to reading Toby's story next.

I enjoyed it more listening to it. The narrators do a really good job giving the characters a voice and it makes the story more interesting. I give the audio a 4*.

Theo and Emmy are explosive wonderfulness

I loved Theo and Emmy’s story. The build up through Seb and Stella’s story was really great and I was excited to get to their story. I love angst and they had it spades. Theos tough exterior is no match for his soft interior for Emmy. The arranged marriage was an interesting device but I enjoyed it even though they were only 17. I really enjoyed how Emmy’s MC family supported Theo bc they knew he would keep her safe. I have just really enjoyed this whole series and am excited to keep it going. James Joseph is just absolutely brilliant in this and his ability to manipulate his voice to depict the many different characters and the many different accents is just phenomenal. Stella is always phenomenal at her narration and has been just as brilliant with the modulation of her voice for the different women

Emmy is an ANNOYING 17 Y/O DRUNK 🥴

Emmy started to irk me in the last book, but now she's all out aggravating. Theo is so stupid, she runs all over him...disappointing. What 'straight girl' wants a guy that she can physically overpower? Eeeww, such a turn off, just no. I'm all for Theo being head over hills for Emmy, but he's just a plane idiot. Emmy does make Theo weak, he's a little punk. I keep forgetting they're young & dumb, but Theo should give her a taste of her own medicine, the way she flaunts around with other males. He's the only one getting jealous & the only one trying to preserve their marriage, male or female, it takes two...let her go. Also, Seb is still a traitor, not a brother! But, duet narration was great....there's that!

I literally can not express how much I love what Stella, & James did with the narration for this series.
I can no wait for Toby's series to come out next!
