Devil's Bane and the Curse of Decay

A fantasy land full of dangers and adventures. From the light of the Gods to the darkness of the Devils, there's treasure to be found and lives to save. The continent is Venterra, a land of kingdoms and monsters, and things are about to change.

Aleister Zabufoo is a young Fiend-Blood, folk who have the ancient blood of devils within them and their physical appearance reflects that. Born to adventurer parents, but raised and trained by their comrades, he's now old enough to set out on his own and begin his own journey, perhaps start up his own guild. Along the way with his companion Ash, he runs into some new friends that will stick with him through thick and thin.

However upon finding their first job as adventurers, it soon leads them into a mess that they could never have imagined. From bloodthirsty Goblins to a vengeful old witch, Aleister and his friends now find themselves at the start of a journey that may lead them to changing the whole world as they know it.

Well done

Good story, well written characters have interesting backstories. Overall looking foreword to the next book.

Matt managed to escape the basement long enough to write a novel!

My favorite part was the flashbacks to esky get a better understanding of characters. In my mind I kind of pictured this as an anime based off the way the the author describes the character in his writing. It worked very well as a story and I really enjoyed the book! I hope to listen to more in the future on the this party of adventurers.
