Great story line

I usually doze away…it’s just how I am! However, the story line had me glued to keep listening to the story about jack and his attempt to fix everything through time. I guess I imago myself trying to fix my past for a better future.
I enjoyed this listening.

Heartfelt, Touching, and so incredibly good!

A beautifully painted picture of what it means to really love. This story is so beautiful and is so incredibly true. I loved reading this book, and I also love listening to it as well. This book has showcased what it is to love somebody, and to truly keep the vows in your marriage. You will love this book if you love a heartfelt message, wonderfully painted pictures of what the time was like, and if you love a story of two people who never gave up on each other. I would love to see this book be turned into a movie. It is that good! I also loved all of the local details, places in Virginia, especially Busch Gardens. Will recommend to anyone who wants to listen to a wonderful story!

Sweet Story of Timeless Love and Second Chances

The author tells this sweet story of Jake who awakens one morning to find himself twenty years in the past with the love of his life, his wife Anna who before his dream had passed away after a long struggle with illness. To his dismay, his body is young again and life is new and full of possibilities and adventure. Not knowing how long he will remain in this past time, he tells the also-younger Anna what has happened and asks her not to tell anyone. He begins keeping a journal that he can leave behind for her. He gives her information on how to avoid the illness which she has not yet encountered. He includes rules to help his family live a more abundant life. It will be up to Anna to implement them after Jake has returned to his own time. When he awakens, Jake is in a hospital with many wonderful surprises waiting to welcome his return to present day life. There are plenty of sayings and quotes from famous motivational speakers and great leaders who shaped the world, all of whom I recognized. Life lessons and timeless information that make this audiobook well worth the listen and additional research. I enjoyed it. Highly recommended.

A love story like no other

I was drawn in to this love story from the beginning through the end. The narrator read with emotion at a pace that allowed me to picture every part of the story as it was told. I could feel the happiness and sadness throughout the story. At times I paused the book for self-reflection and review. It really made me think. I highly recommend this book.
