This is a collected edition of the first two books in the Dimensional Traveler trilogy.

Stephen Crawford is trying to finish his PhD dissertation when he's transported to a magical land he's previously only experienced through gaming. With a strange new capability that causes him to capture (and remove from existence) places, things, and people, he's trying to make sense of his situation and make his way back to Earth.

Definitely took me a minute to figure out if I liked this one or not, gave it a chance and really enjoyed it, it is worth a listen.

A different kind of story than what you are used to,

The book is free for a reason. The plot feels poor and uncrafted/unpolished. The characters are shallow and unchanging. The MC is supposed to be an Doctoral Student but he's written like an 11yr old. The narrator has a certain whiny warbling aspect to their voice that is offputting and annoying. Overall this story is a waste of time.

Terrible Narrator, Plot is sketchy and shallow.

This story is a little more blood thirsty and 2 timing and backstabbing that I like then I like but let's see the third book

Started out thinking this was a litRPG, but it turned out to be a card playing game instead of RPG. The main character started out with a particular set of values, but then all of a sudden decided to do a 180 and abandon all morality. Couldn't continue after that.

shallow characters and card game, not litRPG

At the very beginning the main character was not very likable. This continued throughout the 1st 7 or 8 chapters, and the story was also rather unlikable. The only redeemable part of the audio book was the narrator. Even for free it's not a very good deal.

A very dislikeable main character
