Fourth Wing meets The Hunger Games in this spicy, page-turning romantasy where humans and direwolves forge unbreakable bonds and fight for survival at all costs. Featuring exclusive bonus content!

Only the worthy survive the Bonding Trials. She’ll risk her life—and her heart—to be one of them.

Meryn Cooper has always hated the Bonded, elite warriors who form mental links with the massive, vicious direwolves they ride. While they live in luxury, Meryn struggles to keep her family out of poverty. When her little sister, Saela, is kidnapped—stolen across the border by the immortal monsters her country has spent centuries fighting—Meryn’s world falls apart.

Desperate to cross the front and save her sister, Meryn enlists in the army and is thrown into the deadly Bonding Trials, where any mistake will cost her life.

Now Meryn must survive four months of training at the castle. She is bound to a feral direwolf who refuses to communicate. The other trainees would love to spill her common blood. And her cold and beautiful instructor, Stark Therion, is eager to punish any weakness.

Everything is a competition, and everyone is out to get her—everyone except the dangerously handsome crown prince, whose attention adds another target to her back. In the castle, every smile hides a knife…and the halls hide dark secrets.

It’s bond or bleed. Duel or die. Failure is ruin.

Don’t miss the brand-new bonus chapter from Stark Therion’s perspective!

I enjoyed the story even if I could figure out what was going to happen. While the ad says forth wing meets hunger games I would have to disagree. I can see the Forthwing aspect I would say the rest is closer to Ender's Game.
Children put into military situations and forced to do things they wouldn't normally. I can see many other books that may have helped inspire the author. I would have to say the slow burn is really nice. It builds on it's self and will have you asking for them to PLEASE GET IT ON! I loved the voice narration and the way they helped set the scene and feelings of each character was amazing!
I do know I will continue reading these books and seeing where she takes the story. What can I say I wanted a dire wolf since Game of Thrones book 1.

This is easily better than any other book I’ve read in over 5 years. It may even take over my #1 spot booting blood of Hercules to #2.

Better than Sjm, JLA, or RY.

Obsessed!!

So good!

Does this combine storylines we’ve all seen before? Yes. Did it still surprise me consistently throughout? Yes! Loved every minute of this book. It was refreshing to have a strong fmc from the start and to see the story unfold between the her and the male leads. The ending was chef’s kiss and I can’t wait to read the next one in May.

Absolutely what I want in a fantasy

Amazing job the audible narrators! The story scratched that fourth wing itch I’ve had since January- but in a completely different way. Good world building and even though people said it was predictable I was surprised at the entire ending. happy I could enjoy this book before it really blows up in popularity, cause it was really good!

This is a hit!

So predictable. Spell everything out and yet your MC pretends she can't add 2+2 for half the book is so annoying. First time in over listening to 150 audiobooks I was actually annoyed with the writing and the way she kept draggggging out the obvious. Everything else was perfection.
