Doctor Owen and HR director Erin shock the Copper Point community when they go from enemies to lovers literally overnight. It's a distraction, but when their fake romance turns real, they'll have to put their demons to rest and learn to trust each other.

Loved this story as much as the first one. Such lovable characters, the way they just get inside your heart a stir up emotions is fantastic.

Give me more Copperpoint!

📖 Story comment: good pace, likeable characters, interesting plot.
What I call an "easy listen" - easy-going plot that's good to listen to while doing something else without losing the story.
Characters are well written and the environment felt real. I like that we got to see the "real" Erin in this one, and I liked the connection between him and Owen. Wasn't a fan of the way Owen was essentially bullied into doing things he didn't want to do, but understand why it was needed to progress the story. Overall though, an entertaining story that was a good length and I would be happy to listen to again.

🎧 Narrator comment: Iggy Toma was a good choice for this series, he suits the characters. has good cadence, inflections and intonations and it's easy to distinguish the characters from each other.

This story touches on potentially painful and destructive child/parent relationships but does so in a way that can be a subtle help to those who have been through it. The plot is relevant and the continued story of Copper Point is well performed by the incomparable Iggy Toma. I highly recommend this series!
