Would you consider the audio edition of Double Play to be better than the print version?

I love both! I have become addicted to audible books but there are times I like to read a book.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Jack, of course! He complements Nadia so well and allows her to be tough and independent. Jack clearly loves the things we love about Nadia!

What does Vivienne Leheny bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Her intonation gives you another way to hear the character's voice. Sometimes it is very different from your interpretation.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes.

New narrator???

I love this series and I don't usually purchase shorter books, but I did did this one because I loved the narrator and the story line. I am so disappointed there is a new narrator. It is imperative there is consistency with narrators. I develop a picture and relationship with a good one. This one is not bad, but is not the same so my whole internal picture is changed of the character. Makes it harder to connect with the book. This narrator has a different intensity, dramatic voice and strange prosidy, talks to fast. I can barely recognize these characters. Not good business!

Amazing work by Kelley Armstrong as always. So nice to get more from Nadia and the narration by Vivienne Leheny just brought the story to life. The storyline keeps you engaged, the characters we already knew are awesome and the narration was fantastic. Hope to hear more soon.
