Fantastic world and characters

So different from her other books I read, but I’m in love with this series.

So good!

First I have to say the narrator is phenomenal!! She put on a stellar performance. She really brought the characters to life.

The story itself is so good. I have really enjoyed this book. It sets up a fantastic story and I can't wait to see what happens in the next book. There's so many ways things can go, and I look forward to seeing how it unfolds.

It was a fun read

It was a fun book to do. I liked it overall. Not my favorite but it was a good one to go through after a long series. Thank you!

Not what I expected!

Honestly at first I started reading and stopped at chapter one not feeling a connection but one morning a put on my headphones and pressed play on my headphones not knowing this was the book I had started and not continued and well I couldn’t find my phone so I continued and wow it started getting really good slow at first but it pulled me in. Liked the drama plus it’s a good start to the trilogy. Worth the read.

If you love a good RH Cinderella story with Dragons then this won't disappoint.

I like the story idea involving a Cinderella like story, with dragons, and dragon riders, and a reverse harem, concepts. Spice level gets spicer at the end. I do like the strong heroine that does grow from her trauma and will not take anymore abuse anymore. I do like that there is no bullying or messed up kind of hazing when she goes to the school for cadets. I don't like that she can still be a little bit naive thinking more about propriety and decorum, however I'm looking forward to seeing how Pippen's character develops, as well as her harem of dragon riders and the dragons themselves. I will be continuing to book number two.
