A month in a remote cabin with the last man I ever expected to see again? I can’t decide if I should punch him or drill him. it might end up being both.

After more than a decade, the last person I expected to see walk into the Four Bears Construction offices as a new hire was Ridge.

He was my first crush, and my first heartbreak when he started dating my sister. When he left her at the altar without so much as a note, I wrote him off for good.

No amount of excuses and explanations can erase what he did. At least that’s what I keep telling myself. But when we end up being sent to a remote campground alone to spend a month rebuilding the cabins, it’s too easy to remember why I fell for him in the first place.

I know the guys are all taking bets on how long it takes us to start playing with each other’s tools.

It’s going to be a long month.

Drilled is a forced proximity, best friends-to-enemies-to-lovers, hilarious and steamy, final book in the Four Bears Construction series. It can be read as a stand alone but you won't want to miss this whole hilarious and hot series. No bear shifters, only the other kind of burly, hairy bears.

The construction guys are a good group of guys. I just found this book to be a bit unreal. Your best friend stands up you sister at their wedding and you don’t speak for 15 years. I found that extreme. If they were so close I doubt it would have taken 15. Or that you would t even listen for his explanation. It’s a cheap way to try to bring in some angst. It doesn’t work for me.

The narration was really great!!!

K.M. Neuhold tell so great stories in the Four Bear Construction Series. The books got better and better as the series progressed. She has me laughing out loud too many times to count. Tim Paige and Liam DiCosimo really brought the guys to life in Drilled.

I’m sad to see this series end but Drilled concludes it on a high note. This second chance best friends to enemies to lovers romance between grumpy bear Apollo and the newest Four Bears Construction guy, Ridge, is sweet, sexy, and funny, all rolled into one well-written story. I loved Apollo. He’s just so adorably curmudgeonly. He and Ridge are hot AF together. A few things were pretty implausible/frustrating, though - like 15 years go by and never in all that time was Ridge able to at least blurt out the one sentence that would have set everything straight between them?

Notwithstanding, the book was enjoyable, and I liked Apollo and Ridge as a couple. But the best part is seeing all of the prior couples and their HEAs and the found family of all of the Four Bears guys and their husbands and partners together. Overall, a great read and a satisfying conclusion to the series. Tim Paige and Liam DiCosimo did a great job with narration as usual.

great way to end a highly enjoyable series
