From the creator of Jurassic Park and ER

Two patients in comas, not expected to live: when they both recover, sharing the same bizarre symptom of blue urine, it’s a medical miracle that Dr. Roger Clark cannot explain.

One of the patients happens to be Sharon Wilder, a beautiful Hollywood starlet. When she offers Dr. Clark the chance to accompany her to the private Caribbean island called Eden, he has to accept—if only to learn more about the bioengineering company Advance, Inc., and their promise to make your wildest dreams come true.

What he discovers there will be the most shocking discovery of his life, on an island paradise where nothing is as it seems.

Thrill a minute with suspense throughout. Makes me wonder if organizations are really pursing this type of mind control.

Very exhiting

Michael Crichton’s Drug of Choice was a fantastic audiobook that kept me in constant suspense. I genuinely looked forward to driving just so I could listen to more. Crichton once again proved what a brilliant writer he is, delivering a gripping and thought-provoking narrative.

The only drawback was the ending. It’s a true cliffhanger, and I was left wishing there were another book to continue the story. Still, that lingering tension is part of what made it so memorable. Highly recommended for fans of smart, suspenseful storytelling.

Couldn’t hit pause

Love Crichton, but this is not up to his standards. So many actions of the main character make no sense. Unsatisfying ending. Basic.

Lots of plot holes

I didn’t like the subject matter; it seemed really far-fetched and full of details and facts about various drugs and their potential, negative and positive. Boring. I love Michael Crichton, and I have to say this is probably my least favorite novel in his repertoire.

Really???
