I enjoyed the story as well as the cast of characters. My only complaint was the detailed sexual content which had nothing to do with the story. The author had a good mystery going on, solving the murder of a black man from more than 30 years before. So the sexual content did not fit into the story for me. I would like to read more IIes but not if other novels do the same thing.

Would you listen to The Quiet Game again? Why?

No...I'm not one to listen or read a book more than once.

What other book might you compare The Quiet Game to and why?

This is the third Greg Iles book I've read and each one of them has well-developed characters and the stories have twists and turns you don't expect. There are so many components and levels to each book and yet it all comes together at the end. I thoroughly enjoy his writing.

What does Tom Stechschulte bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Mr. Stechschute is an incredible reader. He brought the characters and their emotions to life. I never had to guess who was talking and I was totally emerced in the story. I would definitely listen to other books in which he is the reader.

Great book...lots of twists and turns!

I want to finish because I'm enjoying the story, but I may have to give up listening and just read the book. I love the reader's voice, but the southern accents are horrible and distracting. And I need him to learn to pronounce Natchez--

Not sure I can listen to the whole thing
