Repeat story

I’m so tired of paying for these books that have been repeated under other titles. They are good stories but the fact that the first story is new and the rest are repeats are deceiving.

Story lines

They were all good stories but difficult sometimes to follow however I enjoyed them all so much…

Heartbreaking/heartwarming

These were all individual stories per book. Each one was well written & narrated. If you like post apocalyptic, I totally recommend this series.

Loved the story line, but I just couldn’t get past the narration.

Well, let’s start with the good. In this case, a captivating story. Strong heroine, apocalyptic scenario from EMP (one of my favorite storylines). Good writing.

The bad is that I got as far as Book 1, chapter 10 before I realized I was spending more time distracted by the audio. To me it sounds robotic in a robot winding down mid sentence vowel lengthening kind of way. Almost all the long vowel signs sounded “glitchy.”

TLDR: the speech pattern sounded so odd to my ears that I had to stop listening.

The storyline was so good that I was sad to see it’s only available in audio.

For the price, it’s worth the buy. Maybe the sound issues are just me. Looks to be a promising story.
