the story is progressing nicely good character development and story if you enjoyed the previous 2 books you'll love this one, I recommend giving it try

Another awesome book from Han Yang!

What can I say? I have yet to find a Han Yang book that I didn't absolutely love! This holds true with both Fantasy and SciFi.

I enjoyed the story quite a bit

Right up front I'll simply say that I recommend this book to anybody reading this review. For those not in the know this story was originally supposed to be a one-off. I don't know what happened behind the scenes to allow it to become a series, but I have thoroughly enjoyed the story this far. There certain sad points speckled throughout but also some pretty awesome moments and overall it balances out in my opinion. I'm happy to hear that there's going to be a fourth book. No idea as of the time of this review whether there will be a fifth one. Also the fourth book is only out in ebook form as of right now though I do look forward to doubling back when it gets the audiobook treatment. I tend to flip back and forth between the two versions depending on what I'm doing. The nareadersrrator did a fantastic job. The audio version also has a preview of another book from Royal Guard. Lastly I'll simply say Well done to everybody who had a hand in bringing the story to the audiobook listeners and Amazon .

I’m so happy with this series. It’s rewarding and fun. I am excited for the future books!
