Edgar Allan Poe (1809–1849) was an American writer, poet, editor and literary critic known for his dark, atmospheric tales and haunting poetry. Widely regarded as one of the most influential figures in American literature, Poe helped shape the horror and science-fiction genres and is widely credited with inventing detective fiction in his 1841 short story, Murders in the Rue Morgue. Despite a life marked by personal tragedy and financial hardship, Poe produced a number of enduring classics such as The Raven, The Tell-Tale Heart, and The Fall of the House of Usher, and since his somewhat mysterious death, he and his writings have had a wide-ranging influence in popular culture. In 1946, the Mystery Writers of America established the annual Edgar award, which honour the best in mystery fiction, non-fiction and film.

I've always loves Poe's work

I've always been a Poe fan and I feel like the narration definitely fit these stories!

I read this many years ago. And now I get to listen to the complete books of Edgar Allan Poe this man was superb in his writings. he was quite morbid at times. I personally think the man was in a state of depression. he lived before we recognized what it was about and how we could possibly fix it. it was quite a good read in my mind.

A great collection of ALL Poe's stories and poems - with the best narration I've heard on Audible. Poe and Keeble are both incredible - this is well worth a listen.

Amazing author, but not for me.

One of my mom’s favorite authors, but I just didn’t enjoy them as much as I thought I would.

awful narration

The narrators were just terrible. half the time they were just yelling things. I'm one of the biggest fans of Edgar Allan Poe that exists and this was unlistenable for me.
