From USA Today best-selling author Kyla Stone comes the epic finale to the acclaimed post-apocalyptic Edge of Collapse series! The final battle for Fall Creek looms. Not everyone will make it out alive.

With enemies closing in on every side, the survivors of Fall Creek find themselves facing impossible odds. Do they flee for their lives? Or, do they defend their town and risk losing it all? Some things are worth fighting for, even dying for. This may be their last stand.

When the country goes dark, ordinary people find themselves facing the end of the world as they know it. With society collapsing before their eyes, they'll have to risk everything to protect their home and the people they love.

Featuring flawed, complex characters and high-octane thrills, this best-selling EMP survival series is perfect for fans of Franklin Horton, Harley Tate, Jack Hunt, and Boyd Craven.

Rated PG-13 for mild language and moderate violence.

as an avid listener to post apocalyptic books and amateur prepped I LOVED this series. I have a very realistic view on what COULD happen in world derailed by losing a modern convenience. Although I, and most others, believe an apocalyptic event would at most be a month or so, this book hits home. it never jumped too far off the edge. the thing I loved the most was it allowed me to put myself in the characters shoes that "turned bad". Made me realize that, I too, would never let me kids starve and would be faced with moral decisions everyday. MY FAVORITE series to date. Can't wait to read/listen to more of her books. Finally, I appreciate the author's creative license (:

be well!

Fantastic series. I laughed and cried. Looked deep for the characteristics in myself, that might make me stronger, better and s hero to others when needed. What a journey from book one this has been my favorite book.
Sad to close it but as each journey starts so it must end. I look forward to more journeys Kyla. Thank you for the many wonderful moments.

I loved these people❣️

I've become a bit of an apocalyptic audio book junky so it is no surprise that I discovered Kyla Stone while on this journey. I listen to many different authors but always come back to Kyla's stories for the strong, smart, woman characters she includes. Hannah's journey throughout this series has been an inspiration. Although she is scarred both physically and mentally she manages to rise above it all and, in that process, becomes a mentor and inspiration for others who surround her. I highly recommend this whole series but advise you to be prepared for heart wrenching action.

Action and Strong women characters

I liked the characters and the story quite a bit. My criticisms would be that some repetition was seen throughout in terms of language. For example, the dog 'chuffs' constantly. Most characters had language/words/phrases they stuck to like glue. A thesaurus could help make some of the story a bit more interesting.
One other odd thing: the slow day by day storytelling felt strange. And chapters would be split in the middle of a story line or even a conversation. Why? Why not finish the conversation and start the next chapter focusing on the next storyline or next character? That seemed odd compared to most books I've read.
Last critique (sorry!) A LOT of VERY detailed talk of weapons. It felt like in some ways I was reading a primer on military grade weapons. I tend to read these types of books for the characters, the actions, the creative survival techniques... not the lengthy war like scenes, or detailed explanations about a dozen different weapons. but that could just be me.
With those minor critiques, I liked the story. A couple things seemed far fetched, but it is the apocolypse so....suspension of disbelief has to come in with the reader!

overall, good story
