EGGS is a quirky and moving audiobook about two very complicated, damaged children. David has recently lost his mother to a freak accident, his salesman father is constantly on the road, and he is letting his anger out on his grandmother. Primrose lives with her unstable, childlike, fortuneteller mother, and the only evidence of the father she never knew is a framed picture. Despite their age difference (David is 9, Primrose is 13), they forge a tight yet tumultuous friendship, eventually helping each other deal with what is missing in their lives.

Such a humble, cute story

At first I thought I wouldn’t like it, but I surprisingly found it interesting and nice because it isn’t what I usually read. Overall, this small story is really good and I do recommend reading it if you want a small read.

Good story

This is a great book of 2 kids of different ages being friends. They have some ups and down but overall every part of the book is great.My teacher gave my class and me this book to read and that was a good story she picked.

Chapters in Audible don't match book chapters

What disappointed you about Eggs?

The chapters in the Audible table of contents didn't match the chapters in the (paper) book, or the chapter numbers spoken n the reading. Many actual chapters were within one Audible chapter.
