Immediately within the first 10 minutes of listening to this book we had to learn that the primary victims of autism are women, people of color and the gay community. I have no problem with any of the above mentioned people I just don't understand why every self-help book pins these people as automatic victims. Just do the book on autism and leave it at that. There was absolutely nothing said that would be specifically directed to any of these groups of people so then why even bring it up?

I enjoyed the way the book was laid out. Full of useful info and tips for those navigating autism as an adult. It was well written and very helpful to me!

Great info and suggestions

I will NEVER purchase another book read by AI. it is cold and impersonable. This is ironic considering this book was written for neurominority people who need to feel someone cares about them.

This book is another free title where it says nothing and repeats sentences word for word in every other section. The chapter names sound great. but let me tell you the solution to every chapter title: "every autistic person is different. there is no one size fits all." Then tells you to pay attention and find your own answer. The only "insight" it offers is to repeatedly say that you might be affected by loud noise, bright lights, or certain fabrics. if this is something that resonates with you, figure out accommodations such as wearing sunglasses or using noise canceling headphones. I'm not exaggerating when I tell you, this is the level of advice. How doe it describe that your brain is different? it says you process things differently. I'm not exaggerating. This is the level of advice. (was that repetitive statement annoying? you'll get used to it if you waste time listening to this book!) if I ran this book through my AI detector, it would likely say that the generic quality of the advice and the repeated sentences mean this book is more than likely to be AI. it doesn't give me an exact yes or no. but it can give me a range A through D and D is most likely,

I kept thinking it started over
