Less well known than the Anne of Green Gables series, L.M. Montgomery reportedly feels closer to Emily in personality and even experienced some of the same events in her own life.

Great narration and story

I enjoyed reading another book by LM Montgomery. I did feel like there were a lot of similarities between this book and Ann of Green Gables. Which is not a terrible thing. I just recognized that they were there. It was an easy story to listen to and I most likely will follow up with the next book
