Virtual voice is computer-generated narration for audiobooks.

My brother’s best friend.
A fake ring.
Only one bed.
I never stood a chance.

Leo Rivera was supposed to be a harmless lie.
The man who once broke me with one cocky laugh—off-limits, untouchable, infuriatingly gorgeous.

But when a powerful investor questions my stability, I panic… and blurt out the biggest lie of my life.
That I’m engaged.
To him.

Now Leo’s sliding a diamond onto my finger like he owns me.
Whispering filthy promises I shouldn’t want.
Touching me like he’s already claimed me.

In public, he’s the perfect fake fiancé.
In private, he pins me to the wall and makes me forget every line we swore not to cross.

One bed.
One secret.
One reckless kiss after another until nothing feels fake anymore.

Because the way he touches me… the way he ruins me…
It’s not pretend. Not anymore.

What will happen when my brother finds out the man I swore I hated is the one I’d beg to keep?

This may be a good hook but with the virtual voice running sentences and no inflections made it difficult to get into it. I couldn’t finish it due to frustration.

I wanted to like this book because the title and premise were solid, and the story technically follows a flow. But as an audiobook, it completely missed the mark. I was constantly lost and had no sense of progression. The narration felt robotic and disconnected, very much like AI writing being read by AI. Please just pay for a real narrator, because the concept deserves better execution

probably a great story but the narrative is awful....the same monotone voice throughout makes it hard to keep up with and stay interested

nothing

this is a good story line however it would be so much better if they used a male voice for the male.parts of the story I know this is virtual voice but surely they have a male vv the story is hard to relate to when they use a women's voice for the male portion of it

good book
