No good deed goes unpunished, not when dark magic is involved.

Graduation is right around the corner, which means finals, long good-byes, and difficult decisions about the future. But Alison and friends have to make it to graduation first. Easier said than done, especially when the consequences of saving Christie’s mom come home to roost. Dead animals are discovered. Magic is stolen. And someone, or something, targets the local shifter pack.

Only an old thorn in her ass can help her save her friends.

Is that a redemption arc in the works, or is Alison being played? They say "keep your friends close but your enemies closer". Alison prefers it the other way around.

Make your enemy your friend.

After all, a girl can never have too many friends, especially in the final battle.

normally this seris was all 5 stars however couple small things. Spoiler warning ⚠️ Luke studies for there transfiguration final in the hall but is not mentioned during the test I know he can't do magic per se however if he has the class what was he tested on?

issue 2. Katheine and IIya, deciding the don't like Luke felt backwards I kept waiting for this plot point to lead to something as much as it was mentioned but it really didn't go anywhere and four the book to be this late in the seris that seems like a early books issue.

issue 3 if listening on audible the new bad guys name, and IIya name sound similar which was not good from a listening perspective.

nice conclusion, not over quite when you think

It was a rather fun and interesting ride. I have to say Kathleen was probably the most annoying student for this run. But Grandma Berrens made some rather bone head moves. Proving that sometimes parents don't always know what's best.

Well that was fun
