Part two of a thrilling action-adventure sci-fi duology, beginning with Injection Burn, featuring indomitable characters, incredible worlds, and plenty of rip-roaring action and thrills!

Search, destroy, survive!

Captains Skyler Luiken and Gloria Tsandi (and their respective crews) have smashed through the deadly Swarm Blockade but now find themselves scattered around the planet Carthage and the space stations she holds in her orbit. Their mission is now twofold: destroy the military compounds of a race of nefarious alien overlords and find a way back home to Earth.

Standing in their way are a race of horrifying, technologically advanced aliens armed with incredible weapons. Low on supplies and with their ability to communicate compromised, the surviving humans must rely on all their cunning, strength, and plain old good luck to turn the tables and overcome their foes.

A gripping story read by a talented voice actor. Creative sci-fi that holds together, throughout. Although one would expect that tech will be far more advanced 250 years from now than occurs in the story.

Excellent! Great pace. Relentless! Creative.

Great ending to this series. Somewhat open ended, but great closure nonetheless. Simon Vance is awesome as always

Spectacular

Vance had to patch up a his narration in many, many places. That must happen all the time, but why are each of these patches so badly done? Seems like they just rushed this one out, maybe because the story is so lackluster. I was hoping this book would be much better after the disappointing first book, but it disappointed even further. And is the whole thing just a setup for another trilogy? If so, everybody involved, please take your time and come up with a better story and a better production.

velocity only in the rushed production
