Fleeing the horde, Startum and friends have nearly reached the safety of Darom when disaster strikes. The Chaos Storm Alliance has arrived ahead of them in full force and is blocking their escape. Not only that, the refugees and troopers that were supposed to flee and assist in the defense of BrokenFang Hold are trapped in the harbor.

Great book, awesome series

Another amazing book in a great series. Well written characters who are all unique and exceptionally performed.

Love this series

The best part about this book, and this series as a whole, is that the author is not afraid to tell the story as organically as possible. It makes the pacing feel more natural when written this way and gets you really involved with the world building and the characters. Even the antagonists are pretty fun to learn about. The best part is that the action is still great and the story is original.
