Cruisin' for love

She's a blood-averse witch looking for a new adventure. He's a vampire cruising around the world and gettin' paid to rock out til dawn. Damion has never felt the way he does around Kylie. But he's a vampire, one of whom broke up her happy childhood home. She's not fond of the neckbiters, but he is such a great guy otherwise. Follow them around The Great North as they create their perfect HEA. A little steamy, a lotta fun. The AI narrator did not take much from the story but nothing beats a human's voice.

Kylie and Damien

This is a sweet paranormal romance which introduces us to Kylie and Damien. She is part witch but has no magic, he is a vampire. They meet on a cruise ship bound for Alaska; for her, it's a vacation from her job as a bartender at a retro rock club for supernaturals. Damien is a member of Luna Blue Shadows, a rock cover band.

Damien is drawn to her from their first meeting, and although their attraction is mutual, she has a thing about blood, so doesn't want to be attracted to the most perfect male she's ever seen, whilst he turns tail and leaves.

Their next meeting is disastrous for both of them, making you wonder if they will ever get it together. But love finds a way.

It's the first book I've listened to that is narrated by Virtual Voice and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised.
