Love the whole Empire High books. Cannot wait for the 8th installment. It does have a cliffhanger and is not mentioned. I think it is something that should have been said.

Great story, terrible narration

I love Ivy’s writing & the EH Series. This is a great addition to the story & I’m looking forward to the conclusion in the last book. That being said, the woman who narrates Brooklyn’s parts of the story was almost unbearable to listen to. She sounds like she’s struggling to get every word out. Her voice is too breathy on her own parts & when she reads Matt’s words in her chapters, she does this weird gravelly voice. It just doesn’t work for me & was super distracting from the story. Connor Crais as Matt is amazing, but I’m hoping they cast someone else as Brooklyn in the last book!
