In the post-apocalyptic genre, we deal a lot with external demons. The grid goes down, pandemics, economic collapse, hostile takeover, solar flares, and EMPs are all horrifying circumstances in their own right. What happens though, when we face our own obstacles: those vicissitudes within ourselves? When trust has been broken? When a loved one is removed? When your psyche has been shocked to the point you cannot function? How do you find the strength to survive, let alone lead a group of people out of harm's way?

Being able to flip a switch mentally from everyday life to a survival mindset is one of the biggest obstacles we will encounter. Procrastination will get you killed. A sense of urgency is imperative for survival. But if your decision is not the right one, you may die or bring harm to a loved one anyways. Round and round the paradigm plays with seemingly no way to disembark.

Follow along as we continue our journey with Alpha Farm. In Facing Your Demons, Emma must confront her deepest darkest monsters to try and save her own husband while trying to regroup and keep her children safe. Will she succeed or risk losing others to save her one true love? Whatever the outcome, no one will ever be the same.
