So Good!

This book completely blew me away! The audiobook narration is absolutely stellar. I felt like I was right there alongside Johan, experiencing every heart-pounding moment. What really sets this book apart is the emotional depth as Johan struggles with themes of failure, friendship, and redemption. I found myself completely invested in Johan's journey. At just over three hours long, it's the perfect immersive escape that leaves you eagerly anticipating the next installment in the series. Definitely worth your time if you're craving an adventure with genuine heart!

Ideal for introducing the little ones to adventure

This adventure audiobook was fun, especially for the little ones, with a cool setting and Johan being a great example for the kiddos. The story felt a bit rushed, and some characters didn’t fully click, but since the book is aimed at a reading level for kids ages 8–12, I’m understanding. The narration adds charm, though more voice variety would’ve helped. That said, this is a great tool for helping kids learn to read, especially if they listen to the audiobook while following along with the print version!

Really good story!

If you’re into action packed novels that don’t waste any time, then this book is for you! It has a lot of good aspects in it such as having to save friends and family. The character development is really good as well!

Fun listen

I love books that take a few expected tropes from fantasy and twist them into something unique. This one is really well-paced, and fantastically narrated. I enjoyed it.
