This story is interesting, but the narration is just awful. The narration almost makes this series unlistenable.

Decent story. Horrible narrator!

I hope we will never have this happen to us. James & Miranda you put a lot of hour's into the book.

Loved the story. Hope it will not happen.

I am halfway through this audiobook right now, but I just had to throw out a review regarding how utterly ruthless the trainees are depicted in this story, especially regarding —_ Treatment of American females from the southwest ——. I don’t want to give a total spoiler, but….. And that’s not the only ruthlessness shown by our Chinese opponents in this story. In real life, would the government adopt some of the same types of wartime policies or goals if we were to go to war with them????

They might want to, but logistically it would be very tough to do, especially because of the whole - Massive amount of mass on the southern border of the United States I mean —— We kind of know that in real life, but I guess it just kind of happens in stories like this. No one really cares that for five years prior to their invasion of the United States in the story Chinese have been a mass hundreds of thousands of troops in Mexico.

Right now, I don’t think there’s more than about Chinese 100 troops in Mexico and I’m Good with that.

I don’t know How the story is going to end?

But I have a feeling that because of the absolute bastardness And ruthlessness of the Chinese military and political leaders that Most if not all of those guys are going to get snuffed out brutally……. But I could be totally wrong because again I’ve only gone through half of this audiobook.

all I can say is this if China ends up on top at the end of the story and America is their bitch. I’ll be somewhat pissed because in books like this America always gets screwed over in the beginning and we are taken by surprise and we lose four aircraft carriers And half of our submarine fleet to some futuristic 300 mile an hour torpedo or sneak ICBM delivered EMP attack , but in the end Some US Army captain from some armored regiment is proverbially pissing on the corpses of our Vanquished Asian foes From atop His M1A2 Abram’s tank in the outskirts of Beijing……….

Ruthless Enemy

I love the level of detail and large character development Especially how well multiple story lines were woven together

Great story and detail

Art imitating life or life imitating art? Let’s hope it never comes to this, but I suppose the events in the story are possible though not probable.
