Moving mountains to bury the truth leaves Hatch with only one choice...
Dig until she sees the light of day.

In the heart of the Appalachian Mountains, an explosive disaster traps Rachel Hatch in a crumbling tunnel—and it’s no accident. As survivors struggle to escape, Hatch discovers evidence that points to something far more sinister: a meticulously staged collapse designed to look like a natural catastrophe.

With lives hanging in the balance, Hatch must navigate the shifting rubble, protect those trapped alongside her, and uncover the truth before time runs out. But powerful forces will do whatever it takes to keep their deadly secret buried—even if it means silencing Hatch and the survivors forever.

Faultline delivers a heart-pounding mix of action, emotion, and suspense. Rachel Hatch returns in a high-stakes mission where the truth lies buried far beneath the surface.

Several of these story lines don’t make sense. Why not kill the scientist at the cabin instead of wait at the diner? Also - holy adjectives, simile, colloquialism, blah blah.. just get on with the story! Every single transition doesn’t need an hour set up on how the air feels, birds, blah blah. It’s tooo much! Hatch - on one hand she’s some crazy bad@$$ but she gets duped a lot!! Makes dumb choices, etc. which is it? Bumbling fool or super soldier? Too much of both makes for an annoying mix.

Just meh
