Died for a cause.
Johnny’s tombstone would read like something you’d find in a dime novel at a used bookstore. Going out like a snuffed candle, his life ended just as it had really begun.
Now he’s been given a second chance to fight his way out of the corner he put himself into.
In a world of brawls, dirty fights, and hard-hitting cultivators, he must win. Because if he loses, he’ll lose more than just the fight, and it won’t be his life. He already managed that once, after all.
Warning: This slice-of-life, slow-burn, gamelit story contains adult themes, undefined relationships/harem, and graphic violence.

As always Chris and Jess knock it out of the park with the narration.
I regret avoiding this one for as long as I did.

Despite one of the most generic titles that I have come across in some time, truly cringe-worthy in how genericit it is, to the point that it might be genius!
This is one of the best books that I have encountered in this genre.
This book is good, proper good! The plot is awesome! The sex scenes are where they should be and not forced just for the sake of having sex scenes in the story.
In the first book, there is really only some foreshadowing of the Harem mechanics that will likely be a part of the plot, but it is encouraging to see how well it is done so far. There are no random and ambiguous sex scenes to make up for the s*** story and writing that you can often encounter in a series of this particular genre...
Really, this book surprised me with how good it is. You will not be disappointed!
The only issue I have with it really is the way the main character is almost completely unaffected with the fact that he was just killed and is being thrust into a completely different world/ reality... I think the author just sort of flew right through that part; there was absolutely no struggling or dismay on the part of the main character trying to cope with the new situation. This was a missed opportunity for the author that would have added to the overall plot and character development...
All in all, the writing is excellent, particularly for this genre. You can tell that the author knows what he's talking about in regards to boxing!
I will definitely be getting the next book in the series, and I am excited to see where the author takes this story!
this, this is why this genre has such potential!
