Terrible

This is the first book in this series I have listened to . I have read the others and liked them . I should have done that with this book . I could not get past chapter 3 because of the awful narrator . Her voice is annoying and her delivery was very off and stilted at times . It seemed she was doing her very first reading of the material . I hope she doesn't narrate anything else .

A super fun listen!

I love a strong techy FMC and a SEAL MMC!

The combo was perfect.

And the narration was fabulous! I could tell each character apart, and I loved that Penny's voice was so distinctly feminine. It is rare to hear narration in women/crime fiction and romance that doesn't have a super low woman's voice and I actually really enjoyed the unique take!

I feel like this book was written and voiced for everyone who wanted Derek Morgan and Penelope Garcia in Criminal Minds to have a love story.

Top notch story and excellent narration!

Narrator terrible

Extremely hard to listen to, had to force myself to push past the absolutely terrible narration. Almost ruined the other books for me (different narrator). If you’re just starting the series, don’t waste your time with this one. Could barely focus on the storyline, that’s how distracting the narration is.
