A new neighbor with a secret identity and a deadly obsession…

Amelie: I knew I shouldn't have asked him for a ride. My new neighbor is a study in contradictions—covered in tattoos and dripping intensity. He’s alluring yet aloof, and his every calculated move is dangerously seductive. Little did I know, he’s been systematically inserting himself into every part of my life. Creeping beneath my protective armor. Trapping me like a fly in his web before revealing his true identity.

Now, he’s standing before our families calling me his future wife. He doesn’t understand that my life isn’t that simple. I have secrets of my own, and his obsession with claiming me might just get me killed.

Content warnings: Devil's Thirst contains references to past S/A (not between the main couple) and might not be suitable for listeners sensitive to the subject. For a more detailed list of possible content triggers, you can visit the books tab on my website.

For those of you who are new to me, I write what I'd call "mafia lite." My heroes are hardened criminals with soft spots for their heroines. There may be violence and cruelty in my books, but never between the main characters. Enjoy!

Overall 3.5-4 stars.

Narrators did a great job. I loved listening to both of them.

First half 3 stars. When I started this, it felt like I was dropped into the middle of the story. I haven't looked into it but I'm pretty sure there is another series that this book is spun off from. So for the first half, I wasn't connecting with the characters at all.

Second half, 4-4.25 stars. Once this book hit the middle section I felt more connected to the characters and things were clicking and more interesting things started happening.

This ended up being a really fun read.

Great narrators, good story

Santo is all grown up now and it took me by surprise, but it was a good surprise. The way it was written was brilliant. I’ve never wanted to be called something so odd, but by someone like that I can deal with it. Ugh it was sooo good.

Seriously amazing!

I kept getting ads for this and then one day it was available on audiobook. So I bought it without ever listening to this author before. I really enjoyed it. Its a mafia romance but very different from the usual. Shes a ballerina and hes back from Italy for her. Not a lot of spice, but a good read.

really enjoyed this
