Lucifer’s daughter rises!

Faith Kennedy’s off-the-grid, quiet life ends when her mother dies of cancer. Before her mother succumbs to the disease, she tells Faith who her father is.

The revelation terrifies Faith more than the thought of the state foster care system.

When Tom and Bridget Ryan step into the state home for girls, the course of Faith’s life changes yet again. With a new, less frightening future offered, Faith jumps at the chance to live in the light despite her newly found talents.

However, word that the devil’s daughter lives brings out dark supernatural entities, and each and every one of them either wants to control her or kill her.

I received a free review copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review. I listened to this audiobook while working overtime yesterday. When this audio ended I was sad, then I looked around and saw what I had accomplished and was amazed. This book was written and spoken very well and I was very sorry to have it end. Spoiler alert...I laughed and cried while listening which lets me know how engaged I was with the story. The next book will be mine as soon as I can purchase it. Give it a listen, you will love it as much as I do.

This book is awesome.

Faith at the end of her mother's life is finally told the truth, her father, was not who she was told. She was the daughter of Lucifer himself. Her mother always lived off the grid, and she doesn't know what to do. All she knew was that her mother was gone and she was being forced to go with the Child Services people to go to a state foster care system. She has a gift that start to be discussed in the start but I will let new readers find out by reading it themselves.

This was just in the start of the book, and it pulled me in completely, I loved it all, the pace of the book.

The narrator did a great job giving each character a different voice and she goes at a good pace. She helps draw you into the story even in the humorous areas makes you smile with the tones she gives.

A great beginning to Taylor's new Fire Cursed trilogy. A well written, narrated paranormal coming of age. Taylor does a wonderful job of world building and character introduction and development. Our main character Faith is just but 16 and is having to face not only the fact that she's lucifer's daughter but the loss of her mother and a new home with strangers and the existence of paranormal. Wonderful love interest and plenty of action to be found. Narration was perfectly done and overall I'm very eager for what's next in this trilogy. How ever will Faith be able to face her new family after what she had to do and how will she defeat her father?!?

This book was given to me for free at my request and I voluntarily provided this review.

This story pulls you in almost from the first word. The story is masterfully written with both the world and characters given full flesh with no breaks that make for inconsistency or a feeling of missing something.

The second I finish writing this review I'll look for the next book
