Magic has returned to the world, but it's brought more than just wonder in its wake.

As Layla Ironwood-Steelsinger prepares to host a massive Midsummer celebration, she can't shake the feeling that something dark looms on the horizon. And she's not wrong.

Ancient spells and plots are unraveling, gods walk among the party, and deep beneath the earth, a force that could destroy everything stirs in its centuries-long slumber.

For the Tuatha Dé Danann family and their allies, this Midsummer celebration could be their last moment of peace before chaos erupts. Dragons are awakening inside the Greatdrakes family, The Wild Hunt is restless, and magic is unleashing creatures that should never be set free on the world.

While couples find love and families reconnect under the solstice moon, secrets emerge that will shake the foundations of both the human world and Faerie.

Contains mature themes.

what an amazing way of give us just a small taste of what to expect next in the series, I loved it.
unfortunately the narrator didn't do it for me, his regular voice is fine but whenever he was trying to make other voices was annoying, specially Moira's and Avallach's

appetizer!!

I love this series and the characters so I was excited for this story but I just ended up being annoyed and distracted throughout the entire thing by the narrator. Especially when listening to the ridiculous voices he did for my favorite characters, Imogen and Arawn.
I mean maybe it's just me, but if I were hired to narrate books four and five from some hypothetical series, the first thing I would do is actually listen to the recordings of books one, two and three because I'd want to maintain some consistency. I can't stand when a new narrator comes along and suddenly characters have different voices and/or accents, names/words are being pronounced wrong/differently, etc.... It's sloppy and obnoxious and clearly, a pretty serious pet peeve of mine. 😅🙄🤷🏻‍♀️

Story 👍🏻 Narrator 👎🏻
