I am really enjoying this series. Hatch is a complex character. In this book she helps young girls escape sex trafficking.

I love that she lives by a code .I hope the next book brings her closer to finding a way back to her family.

This is totally worth a credit. I am ready for the next book in the series to drop.

Ready for the next one

Wow! This is most blood-pumping book yet. Hatch doesn't have a clue of his deception. As always, she manages the situation with a little hiccup.
This is an amazing series and I love it even more because their is a true heroine involved. It is nice see a lady kick some slimeball's butt.

She never saw it coming!

I've enjoyed every book in this series and I highly recommend it. The books could be read as stand alone, however, reading them in order adds much more depth to the story.

Great Series!

Firewalk is book 5 in the Rachel Hatch series. All of the books in this series can be listened to as a standalone. I would at least listen to book one prior to this one for background.
In this book a young woman goes missing. When Rachel stops at a gas station she sees a young woman who appears to be in distress. She’s with two older men. The woman drops a lapel pin before getting in the car. It seems like she wants Rachel to see but not the man escorting her. Of course Rachel picks it up and tracks it down to a missing student from a wealthy family.
There is some predictability and I had the the ending figured out within an hour of starting. But the book is so enjoyable I had fun listening to it until I found out for sure whether I was correct in my prediction.
Marnye Young does a great job narrating.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
