Suspenseful short--Law enforcement MCs

New author for me. Great story & characters. Didn't feel short-changed at all like with some short stories. Loved the suspense & drama. Dual narration by Connor Crais and Jennifer Mack was terrific -- excellent acting! 🫶 Finished it in a single session and really enjoyed it! Extra mentions for Connor Crais fans: There's a wee bit of Irish Connor (as Aiden's parents), and Connor plays the bad guy -- which is always fun!
