Charlie's leadership tips the balance in his friend group. His fellows begin to see that everyone and anyone is called to take a stand. The dogs learn to ride their surfboards with expert skill, but wily poachers stand in the way. The canine surfers must understand their power to make a difference...just as they are.

Reading level: Longer illustrated chapter books/middle grade books (ages eight to 12).

Listening level: storytelling on Audible (all ages).

Children's educational topics: friendship dynamics, leadership styles, self-confidence, environmental conservation, sea turtles, and of course...canine surfing. Excellent adjunct to classroom relationship discussions and environmental teaching units.
