The first but not the last

This may have been the first book by Molly McAdams i've listened to, but it will most definitely not be the last! I personally Love Erin Mallon and Jason Clarke as narrators, and to have them come together was fabulous! I loved the foreshadowing at the beginning, I loved the personality traits, and the clear love between Rae and Sawyer from the beginning. Everyone carries baggage, but these two carry more than their average load, and they still somehow change and evolve! I LOVED this book, and can't wait to start the next the series!

Female narrator has strange way of dragging out words

This female narrator has the strangest way of dragging out the ends of words. Not sure how to describe it. Pronounces words correctly and fully, but often drags out the last word of a sentence and hits a hard “nnn” sound or something; it’s almost like another syllable. It sounds so strange & distracts from listening.

Took a while!

it took a good long while for this book to really catch my interest. I almost gave up before finishing it. The narrator reads a bit too fast but after a while you get used to it. I'll check out the rest of the series.

Steamy Romance

Well written, with a lot of steamy scenes, romance, and intrigue surrounding characters pasts. Some readers might be put off by their first few encounters, but 🤷🏽‍♀️

Very racy

Interesting read. The voices could have been done differently to make it an easier listen. Kind of a mystery / romance mix. Very good story. Leaves you wanting more.
