When an eminent Folklorist comes to town with her team for their summer research project. I have the chance to assist and figure out what I really want. It all goes perfectly… for about five minutes, until goblins mess with our research. Add to that a load of irate golden-horned sheep, an introverted cyclops, and half a ton of glitter (most of it in my hair—don’t ask), and my opportunity for a little peaceful reflection is well and truly scuppered. What’s more, my reputation and the team’s lives are on the line.

Now, I’m not just hot and bothered, I’m ready to explode. My only solution is to head into Fae with Lucas to track down the culprits. But close proximity to an incubus is never a good thing. After a number of, um… distractions, we discover that it’s not just the folklorist’s lives in danger, it’s everyone else’s too.

Fantastic AND accessible!

Another great addition to the Folkloric series, 'Lure' is fun, funny, and heartfelt. Still plenty of chills and blood, too. But, just as the tone never gets too flippant, sad, or gory, the narrator once again hits the mark.

If you're looking for a fun, entertaining ride, with just enough feels (of the scary, gross, or teary kind), this book--and series--is an amazing find!

(And yes, I could read this book in a screen reader, but the narrator Truly brings this wonderful story to life. And, I suspect, pronounces all the French names, foods, and places Much more recognizably!)

Folkloric Lure

Folkloric Lure Book 2 in The Folkloric Series by Karenza Grant is a great addition to this fun and adventurous series. I love learning more about this world's mythology and people. Liz May Brice does an amazing job voicing the characters and has such a pleasant tone, it truly is enjoyable to listen to these stories. I highly recommend! I can't wait to start Book 3!

Camille

Camille gets a chance she has been dreaming about only to have everything that can go wrong does go wrong. So far a series worth reading and/or listening to.

Camille's persistence

Folloric Lure finds Lucas's still trying to convince Camille to become a Keeper, but Camille has other plans. Until things start to get difficult. Who is controlling everything? Why are people and gold disappearing?
The narration is amazing, you will thoroughly enjoy it!!

Charismatic characters

Building on the previous book, this one adds in an adventure, our heroine deals with her parents and possible romance in the future.
I personally love the folklore and the narrator is extremely enjoyable. Can't wait tobeginthe 3rd book.
